Released for Publication: Israeli security forces captured an Arab terror cell from the village of Awarta near Shechem.

The two terrorists were involved in the arson attack on a gas station in the town of Eli in the Shomron on August 14, 2015. They firebombed the gas station, burning down the pumps and sprayed the logo of the PFLP terror organization at the site of their attack. The gas station did not explode.

The two were identified as Majdi Izzat Qawariq Galal, born in 1993, and Ahmed Essam Atta Abda, born in 1992.

During the interrogation, they said they burned down the gas station to avenge the attack in the village of Duma in July.

The operation to capture them was done in cooperation with the IDF, police and Shabak
