A Palestinian man enters a tunnel on the border between Egypt and Gaza in the Rafah Refugee Camp, southern Gaza Strip, on December 10, 2009. Egypt has begun constructing a huge metal wall along its border with the Gaza Strip as it attempts to cut smuggling tunnels, media reports stated yesterday. Egyptian security sources said the authorities had started digging and placing steel tubes through the ground at several points on the border, without giving details.
