Hamas Pulling Back Anti-Rocket Troops

Hamas is withdrawing 600 personnel it deployed to stop rocket attacks on Israel, according to an AFP report.

After various terror groups in Gaza recently escalated their rocket attacks on Israel, Israel launched retaliatory attacks against Gaza’s terror infrastructure.

Hamas decided to deploy troops to stop the rocket launches, before Israel escalated the retaliation too much.

Hamas was afraid Israel would go so far as to overthrow Hamas, or do more serious damage that would cause Hamas to lose control.

Now, apparently in protest of Israel still retaliating for the ongoing terror activities emanating from Gaza, Hamas decided to pull back its anti-rocket launching troops.
