Hamas has stiffened its condemnation of Palestinian Authority  chairman Mahmoud Abbas and rejected his right to “give up any part of the land of Palestine or any of the people’s rights.”

The terrorist organization that runs Gaza has repeatedly rejected Abbas’ right to stage direct talks with Israel, and now it has called on the Arab League and the Arab and Islamic countries to “lift the cover on this negotiating process.”

It accused the Ramallah-based Palestinian Authority of agreeing to surrender “the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their land and their homes,” referring to several million Arabs living ins foreign countries and classified as “refugees” by the United Nations.

Hamas’ adamant stance has been overlooked by most media covering the “peace process” talks and precludes any possibility an Israeli-PA agreement unless Gaza is left out of the picture, a situation that the Arab world would not tolerate.
