An IAF fighter jet on the way to a mission.

On Sunday night, the Israel Air Force hit terror targets in south and central Gaza.

The strikes came in response to the recent rocket launches from Gaza at Israel. The latest Gazan rocket was launched Sunday evening at the Eshkol region.

All aircraft returned safely to base.

The IDF said they hold Hamas responsible for the rocket attacks against Israel.

On Monday, Hamas and the Palestinian Authority are expected to announce a unity government.
