IDF Official Says Ultra-Orthodox Soldiers Will Not Have To Listen To Women Singing

An IDF Personnel Directorate official said that the IDF will maintain separation between Haredi soldiers and women. The decision appears to be an attempt to mitigate the damage done to IDF-Ultra-Orthodox community relations by the Israel Air Force Chief Rabbi’s resignation and the calls by certain Knesset members for the Ultra-Orthodox not to enlist.
