Israeli soldiers shot and seriously wounded a Gaza Arab Thursday evening when he and others approached the security fence and refuse several requests to step back.
The Bethlehem-based Ma’an News Agency reported that “the man was shot near a cemetery,” which is a new version of propaganda that usually describes people at the fence as simply indulging in playing soccer or looking for scrap metal.
IDF spokesmen said that the Arabs were causing damage to the fence, and that soldiers fired when their appeals to stop were not heeded.
