An IDF officer training to be a pilot discovered he had cancer, but he conquered the disease and now has graduated from  Israel Air Force’s Flight Academy’s tough course.

“Lt. T,” who declined being interviewed by media, completed the course despite long stretches in the hospital.

The IDF published his story to note World Cancer Day, which was Monday.

“Going home was not an option.” Lt. T told an IDF spokesman. “If you believe that you can, you will succeed, not just in relation to the pilot’s course but regarding life in general.
