The weapons in their hands when the battle is over may have nothing to do with those that were in their hands at the time it began. What is certain is that Da’esh has acquired many, many American and other foreign weapons, and arms merchants are growing richer on the black market every day.

Israel is watching closely and working hard to try to prevent nuclear materials from entering that market. Last year’s nuclear deal with Iran has certainly complicated that task.
