Leader of the northern branch of the outlawed Islamic Movement in Israel, Sheikh Raed Salah, arrives at the District Court in Jerusalem.

The outlawed Islamic Movement organization attempted to hold a meeting at a hotel in the eastern part of the capital Thursday morning.

The group was banned in November after its leader, Sheikh Raed Salah, and members were convicted numerous times on charges of incitement to violence.

Jerusalem police found out about the meeting and broke it up, dispersing the participants with crowd control measures, including a stun grenade.
