Israel goes on Standard Time, known as “winter time” in Israel, at 2 a.m. Sunday morning, which means the time difference from New York will be only six hours.

The usual seven-hour time difference will return next Sunday, November 1, when the United States goes off Daylight Time and turns back the clocks at 2 a.m.
