A 10-year-old Israeli child from Samaria is currently isolated in the pediatric unit at Schneider Children’s Medical Center in Petach Tikvah, after having been brought to the hospital with measles.

The child was not vaccinated and after contracting measles subsequently became ill with encephalitis — an inflammation of the brain. The child is now in very serious condition.
