Israel Police tighten security around the Jerusalem Light Rail .

The Light Rail came under attack by Arabs hurling rocks at about 9 am Tuesday in the northern Jerusalem neighborhood of Shuafat.

No physical injuries were reported but as has often been the case in such attacks, at least one car was damaged.

Stone-throwing attacks on the Light Rail line usually take place in Shuafat or one of the nearby neighborhoods. They prove to be costly both to the company that runs the line, and to city residents.

When cars are damaged they are taken out of service to be repaired at a cost of thousands of shekels.

But fewer cars also means reduced availability and less convenient schedules for commuters in Arab neighborhoods too, which clearly does not concern the terrorists in their midst.
