Israeli security forces raised the alert level for an imminent terrorist attack in Jerusalem for the first time in more than a year Tuesday evening. Authorities did not release details on what type of attack is feared.
Police, firefighters and Magen David Adom medics in the capital were on standby alert.
Police officers were deployed at key points in and around the city and carried out security checks on cars entering Jerusalem.
