The Orlando Sentinel reported that thirteen Jewish graves were desecrated over the weekend at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Only Jewish tombstones knocked over or uprooted, while other graves were left untouched. Sumter County Sheriff”s Office is investigating the vandalism as a hate crime.

“Every headstone that was targeted had a Star of David on it, and that is why we consider it a hate crime,” said Lt. Bobby Caruthers.
