Police evacuated New York’s JFK airport’s Terminal 8Â on Sunday night, after multiple reports came in of shots fired inside the terminal. There were also reports of shots heard in Terminal 1.
The first call came in at 9:30 PM (NY Time), and a second call came in at 10:15 PM.
Following searches and an investigation, the Port Authority and the Police say there is no indication that any shots were fired inside the airport.
By 11:30 PM (NY Time), police began reopening the terminal.
