US Secretary of State John Kerry cancelled a trip to Cairo at the last minute Tuesday, then blamed Hamas for ignoring a ceasefire with Israel by bombarding Israeli cities throughout the day.

Dozens of rockets have battered Israeli cities since the ceasefire was due to begin at 9:00 this morning, striking as far as Zichron Yaakov, some 150 kilometres north of The Strip.

According to a report in The Jerusalem Post, Kerry told reporters in Vienna, “I cannot condemn strongly enough the actions of Hamas in so brazenly firing rockets in multiple numbers in the face of a goodwill effort to offer a ceasefire, in which Egypt and Israel worked together, that the international community strongly supports.

“Hamas is purposely playing politics” by continuing the rocket fire, using innocents as “human shields… against the laws of war… that is why they are a terrorist organization,” Kerry added

The paper said Kerry is prepared to return to the region in order to nurture a ceasefire deal, but at the moment he is scheduled to return to Washington after talks in Vienna with Iranian officials about that country’s nuclear program.

Poor Kerry he has a lot in common with Hamas and the Palestinians, nobody wants him. Please Israel don’t stop! All Palestinians are responsible for Hamas’s actions and no mercy should be given to any of them. Before any cease fire, Gaza should be a ghost town. End this for ever once and for all. Bomb them, starve them, what ever it takes, this has to end! G-D bless Israel and the IDF.

    CEASEFIRE IN TATTERS !

John Kerry seldom does things right. This time, he was right to blame Hamas for the breakdown in ceasefire he egged a reluctant Egypt’s President to help broker, which Israeli unilaterally submitted to.

But after 35 rockets were fired into Israel today, PM Netanyahu decided to resume the punishing bombardment. This proves once again that islam is not peace and goodness.

    God bless Israel.

  84. Tami Regis – you need a history lesson: From day one the Arabs taught hate the Jews. 2 – Arabs in Israel enjoy more rights than they have in Arabic Countries. 3- The original Palestine was a Greek State and not Arab. 4- Over 875,000 Jews were expelled from Arab lands in 1948 with only what they could carry. 5 – The Balfour Declaration gave Jews a lot more land then they have now. 6- The Arabs who were refugee’s – most who left on their own to avoid the war, were left in squalid camps and keep poor just to make a political point. 6- there has been a Jewish presence in Israel for over 3,000 year. 7 – There were many pogroms in what is now Israel even before 1948 where the Arabs just decided to go out and kill Jews. 8- there are many areas that Arabs didn’t even want until the Jews came in and made the areas blossom (Ma’ale Adumim is an example – it was called a devil’s land). 9- Name me an Arab state today where Jews are members of the government – Name me a Jewish State where Arabs are members of the government – Israel. 10 – Remember Barak proposed giving the Arabs 90% of what they wanted and instead of negotiating – they started the first intifada with its violence against Israel. If the Palestinians took the money they had in building a better life for their people in Gaza instead of squandering it to kill all the Jews in Israel with weapons, there would have been peace between the parties today and both would have prospered.

  112. I forgot to add, your you tube video correctly mentions it was a British protectorate, but then claimed it was Arab land. Well, the area was controlled at various times by Arabs, Christian, Jews, Greeks, Romans, Turkey. But the claim to the effect there were only a hand full of Jews in 1948 and just about everyone else was Arab, is nonsense. There has always been a Jewish presence in the land. And there were Christians, Samaritans, Druise, Bedouins, B;Hai (who by the way were murdered by Arabs in large numbers – yet another peaceful people Arabs loved to kill).
