Livni Shoots in Every Direction

Tzipi Livni

Justice Minister Tzipi Livni who headed up the Peace Talks is shooting in every direction, laying blame on everyone for the failed talks.

In an Israel Channel 2 interview she said the US’s intense involvement got in the way, and said the US was acting as a proxy negotiator, instead of letting the two sides talk directly.

Livni blamed Minister Uri Ariel of Bayit Yehudi for releasing 700 building tenders in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo and over the Green Line, saying that helped torpedo the talks.

Uri Ariel responded to Livni’s attack, advising Livni to look into the wisdom of our sages, who said, “The sign of wisdom is silence.”

  1. Livni should rather shut up – she is one of the reasons the so-called peace talks fails. From the beginning she was a mistake to be there. Her appointment by BB was one of his greatest mistakes.

There never was a negotiation to begin with. IT was always you give I take. Goes back to Arafat in the U.N. and his ' I come to you with a gun and a dove – don't make me use the gun' speech. The Arabs do not negotiate they demand and then if they don't get what they want … history speaks for itself. The weaker israel shows itself to be the worse their position. The U.S has weakened Israel at the negotiating table.

If Abbas and his advisers are really interested in talking about peace wit Israel, they should have direct talk. Why an American like Kerry, Obama or Carter try to deal on so complex issues they do not understand. They are not qualified to "negotiate" among Israel and Arabs. Who are they like Obama suggesting Israel should go back to the 67 border lines, or release murderer of innocent civilians, or like Carter that he "disagrees" that Israel should be call a Jewish State or that Jerusalem shouldn't be the capital of Israel. In my view, they need to study a bit of history, let their personal bias out, and get in touch with reality. And be aware that American negotiations do not work in the Middle East. Example: have been successful with Iran?….with Syria…and what about Ukraine and Russia. Western leaders' complacency appears to be very dangerous. They obviously haven't learn the lessons of the 1st WW. great conflict.

  4. Nothing will be gained by blaming everyone, except the PA. It has been known for months that they were flogging a dead horse.

  5. Her parents a"h must be rolling over

  6. I do not like…to place My photo

  7. Livni should go out, she has not right to talk for the Israeli people.

  8. Livini opens her mouth, embarrasses herself (if that's possible) and the Israeli people. She needs to go home and decide where she wants to live…Gaza or Israel. Or maybe take a pill to balance her irritability and brainless comments. Lady, the talks were never meant to be a success. Only you, Kerry and Obama had delusional thoughts it would succeed. Read your BIBLE.

  9. Binyamin Netanyahu must explain to Barak Obama and to all nations that God gave to Israel all the Land of Canaan, which includes all the Palestine, as it is written in the Bible, in Genesis 12:6-7, 15:13-21, 17:1-8, 17:19, 26:1-5, 28:10-14 and 35:9-12 and Numbers 34:13-29 and Deuteronomy 3:8, and that Israel possessed that land since the year 1466 BCE, and that the Arabs invaded the Land of Israel (Palestine) in the year 635 CE, so that all the Palestine belongs to Israel, including the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and the Arabs are invaders and must go back to their land, that is Arabia.
The State of Israel must not make pact with the Palestinians, because it is written in the Torah, in Exodus 23:32 and 34:12 and Deuteronomy 7:2 that God commanded Israel not to make pact with the inhabitants of the Land of Canaan, that is the Land of Israel, also called "Palestine", and it is written in the Torah, in Numbers 33:50-53 and Deuteronomy 1:8 and 30:5, that God commanded Israel to possess all the Land of Canaan, that is the Land of Israel, also called “Palestine”. Therefore, the peace talks with the Palestinians must cease immediately.

  10. Sientje Seinen says:

I believe Barak Obama knows but like Pharaoh, is challenging the Lord G-d of Israel, whom Obama does not know.

  11. Get rid of her she is an embarrassment for Israel, what a looser?!

  12. Bear Klein says:

Livini is desperate her political reason for existence is coming to a complete failure. What a shock!

  13. I hope Livni is a good cook.
She should rather be in her kitchen cooking lunch and dinner for her husband

  14. Where was the blame on the PA? Oh yeah that would be too obvious (and she is worried about being called a racist?)

  15. Lloyd Bergner says:

Livni: You are a disgrace to Eretz Yisrael; Time to retire and relocate where you friends will admire you..let's say Ramallah

  16. Ken Kelso says:

On Livni, nothing surprises me how radical she is.

Justice Minister says that the terrorists who carried out the bus bombing in Bat Yam should be ignored in favor of peace talks.

Yet why did Netanyahu put this radical Livni in his government?
Livni's appeasement party only got 6 seats in the last election.
Thats why people will say Netanyahu is basically Livni, Olmert, Barak and Peres.

  17. Ken Kelso says:

Livni believes in siding with Evil.

Fatah glorifies Kibbutz Metzer massacre terrorist and Palestinian homicide bomber for slaughtering 8 Israeli civilians on a bus.
Kibbutz Metzer was about the terrorist incident where a Palestinian gunmen machine gunned an Israeli mother and her 2 sons at Kibbutz Metzer in 2002. The Israeli mother tried to shield her sons, but it was to no avail, the Palestinian terrorists massacred all 3 of them.
And Livni wants to talk to this racist evil Arab Abbas.
