Local Authorities in Israel to Continue Strike


Local Authorities nationwide decided to continue the strike withholding municipal services, but announced that institutions of special education serving children with disabilities would open.

On Monday, special education institutions were closed, drawing sharp public criticism. “While I support the freedom for workers to take strike action, children with disabilities should not be part of this game,” said Minister of Welfare and Social Services Moshe Kahalon.
