A major pro-Israel rally will take place on Wednesday, August 6 at Asser Levy Park in Brooklyn, NY from 6:00pm – 8:00pm to show solidarity with the State of Israel as it battles Islamist terrorism in the Gaza Strip.

Entitled “Brooklyn Unites for Israel”, the event has been organized by the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) Brooklyn Region Chapter, in conjunction with several other prominent Jewish and Zionist groups including Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), The Jewish Press, and COJO of Bensonhurst and is co-sponsored by Assemblyman Steven Cymbrowitz.

The rally will feature Israeli musical performances by Benny Elbaz, Ron Eliran, Gershon Veroba, and others as well as prominent speakers including Malcom Heonlein, Chariman of the Conference of Presidents, Michael Miller, CEO of JCRC, Assemblyman Dov Hikind, Rabbi Schmuel Butman, Head of the Lubavitch Organization, IDF Brigadier General Ari Tesler, and others.

“Israel is on the front lines in the global fight against terror but has never felt so alone in the Western world,” reads a message by posted organizers on Facebook. “Please be there with the people who are standing up for what is right.”
