Menachem Golan (85)

Film director and producer Menachem Golan, of Golan-Globus fame, passed away on Friday, August 8, at age 85.

Golan produced over 200 films, including Delta Force and Superman 4.

Sean Connery, Sylvester Stallone, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Charles Bronson starred in his films.

Golan was born in Tiberias in 1929, and served as a pilot in the IAF in Israel’s War of Independence.
