In Jerusalem, the renowned and venerated Yeshivas Mir Yerushalayim has issued a letter in Hebrew and English, pressuring its rabbinic students and members of the yeshiva to “immediately get a vaccine” against the measles virus if they have not already done so.

According to the Ministry of Health, anyone who was not vaccinated for measles, is requested to immediately get a vaccine! Please go to the Health Office, Recov (sic) Yaffo 86 during reception hours.”

Last Thursday, an unvaccinated 18-month-old baby died in Jerusalem as a result of measles.
