At least 19 people were hurt in Paris riots, including four police officers, as French demonstrators expressed their outrage over rising fuel taxes in France. Two people have died in the violence since November 17.

Thousands of people gathered on the Champs-Elysees on Saturday to protest the latest increase in the fuel tax, waving picket signs reading “Death to Taxes.” A large vehicle was also overturned.
