Following an IAF attack this evening which killed 2 al-Asqa terrorists in Gaza, multiple rockets were launched from Gaza at southern Israel.

The terrorists were traveling in a car when the IAF took them out. The IDF says the two terrorists were planning an attack on Israeli citizens along the Israel-Egypt border. Last week, the Ministry of Education temporarily cancelled all school hikes near the border due to warnings of an imminent terror threat.

Five rockets hit so far, but no damage or injuries have been reported.  One Grad rocket hit near Be’er Sheva. Two others hit near Sha’ar Hanegev.

Residents within 7 kilometers of Gaza are being told to stay in their bomb shelters. Schools will be open tomorrow, but children will not be allowed to play outdoors.

Residents in the area are concerned that the ‘Color Red’ siren did not go off when the rockets were launched.
