PM Netanyahu speaking at a Likud-Yisraeli Beyteinu party meeting expressed disappointment at the Israeli-Arab leadership for not condemning the kidnapping.

He contrasted the leadership to the average Israeli-Arab citizen, who has condemned the act.

Netanyahu said this is very serious. He pointed out that even PA chairman Abu Mazen has said more than the Israeli-Arab leadership has said.

Netanyahu continued, if they want to be part of Israeli society, they must condemn the kidnapping of innocent children.

Netanyahu added that two days ago, there was a rally (in Uhm El-Fahm) calling for the kidnapping of IDF soldiers.

The northern branch of Islamic Jihad was behind that rally, and Netanyahu said he is planning to have the organization outlawed.

He said there’s no reason that an official organization that doesn’t recognize the State of Israel’s legitimacy, should be legal in Israel.
