Around the world, people have gathered to honor the victims who died at the hands of terrorists in Paris at vigils, holding signs reading 'Je suis Charlie' -- I am Charlie. The reference is to the Charlie Hebdo satirical weekly magazine, the first target attacked by the terrorists, where 12 people died.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is heading to France together with Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman and Economy Minister Naftali Bennett, as well as MK Eli Yishai as the Knesset’s representative, to attend a unity rally in Paris today (Sunday, Jan 11).

The Israeli government leadership will join with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, British Prime Minister David Cameron, King Abdullah II of Jordan and his Queen, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy, United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and a million more.

Abu Mazen – the Arab terrorist name of Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas — initially said he wouldn’t be able to go because of inclement weather, but has since changed his mind.

The “silent march” is being held to protest terrorism, and to honor the memory of the 17 victims murdered last week in a three-day series of attacks in Paris by radical Islamist terrorists.

Rallies are also planned in numerous cities around the globe.

French police are still hunting for Hayat Boudienne, the common law wife of one of the terrorists slain on Friday. However, it is believed she has left the country and headed to the Middle East. Turkish police have told authorities Boudienne may have passed through Turkey on her way to Syria, Fox News reported Saturday night.

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is also expected to participate in the solidarity rally in Paris, according to Turkey’s official Anatolia news agency.

The news follows a report last week that the exiled politiburo chief of the Hamas terror group, Khaled Mashaal, has been invited to establish a new headquarters in Turkey. Mashaal was allegedly expelled from Qatar, along with top officials of the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist organization.

The Al Qaeda affiliate in Yemen, Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), has taken responsibility for the attack Wednesday at the Charlie Hebdo satirical weekly magazine office.

The terror group released a statement over the weekend claiming the assault was launched in revenge for the “honor” of the prophet Muhammed, the founder of Islam.

The statement issued by the group’s spokesperson said the leadership of AQAP directed the operations and chose their target carefully. He added that the terror organization delayed taking responsibility for the attack because of “security reasons.”

U.S. intelligence sources said that 34-year-old Said Kouachi, one of the suspects killed on Friday, had traveled to Yemen in 2011 and made “direct contact” with Al Qaeda training camps.

  1. Terrorism, with enough will and determination can be quashed

Demonstration of a million people against terrorism is nice, but it is only the initial action. In the past generation terrorism has escalated and is now accelerating beyond control. The real demand by the masses of the free world is to call for, that immediate action with force and unrestricted international cooperation to fight, crush and eliminate terrorism. The terrorist infrastructure and financing must be eliminated. Let the terrorists know under no circumstances that terror and violence will not be tolerated
Let the leaders and politicians know that if they do not go after terrorism in earnest without personal political reasons, that they will not be elected again. This is no time for politicking, but actions and results, the future of the world as we know it, depends on it.
Put all politics aside – fighting and quashing terrorism is a matter of world survival
The world needs to put together immediately an International task forces to fight terrorism and Muslim extremists. It needs to be a well trained force with substantial resources and manpower as well as an International intelligence cooperation with no restriction. It has to be a unified and cohesive battle to abolish terrorism at all costs. Let the terrorists know that there is no hole they can hide in, that the world terrorist task force and other law enforcement agencies will get them wherever they are. We must shut off all their resources, financing, financial institutions and any source that supply them with any kind of support; weaponry, economic, information, etc. whatsoever.
I urge the world powers at large to take these terrorist events seriously with utmost urgency. The situation is at a critical stage and if immediate all out action is not taken in all parts of the world, terror and mayhem will take over the world and we will not be able to stop it.
Just imagine if one of those terrorist got a hold of a nuclear suitcase bomb. Do I need to describe it any further.
Is there a leader today (please stand up) in the free world who can take the bull by the horn and initiate this global war on terrorism.

P.S. Fighting terrorism is not unlike fighting a deadly cancer. It can not be treated just where it is visible – every diseased cell in the body must be destroyed.

  2. If the Free World would agree to some policies such as deportation of any person with a police record, non-nationals and Muslims even if born in that country, this would be one step with a message. If countries would adopt a shoot to kill on the spot law whenever there might be terrorism, that would prevent man hunts a lot of the time, and if they did get away, use all resources including an international system of notification of identity/ description. Allow citizens to own and carry guns for self protection at least in areas of dense Muslim population and areas at higher risk… people and places identified as enemies of Islam. These people have done us a great favor every time they take credit for an act, we know immediately who to snipe or bomb, we should waste no time, that allows people to move. Special forces from all nations in the Free World should be a team seeking out these self proclaimed leaders and removing them, so to speak, from power. When another steps in to fill the vacancy, reload and repeat. We MUST stop using their self given titles because this makes them sound legitimate, and the only thing they are is legitimate terrorists, not on par with world leaders. I don't care if some are elected in farce voting, they are terrorists. Do not allow private or home schooling, all Muslim children must attend public schools taught in the language of that nation using the national curriculum which should teach about the negativity of terrorism. Do not allow any language but the national language, if anyone is caught speaking, reading or writing in any language related to being an Arab or Muslim they should be jailed, it's necessary to prevent them from communicating secretively and from teaching this hate to their kids who are victims of the way they are brought up. The cycle MUST be broken. I am pro deportation of all Muslims back to Arab countries not involved in the support of ISIS and not bordering Israel, which ISIS wants to take over and then converge to take over Israel before coming for France and the UK then the US and Canada. Make military service after high school compulsory for males and females in all countries who don't have this with a 2 year requirement after which they would remain in the reserves with the usual regular training and annual service. There are so many steps that countries can take to greatly restrict the ability of any terrorist to act on these desires, I can't believe anyone is befuddled about what to do. Stop worrying about being PC or coming under scrutiny… people are being murdered. By taking no action the countries are complicit in these actions! The governments are there to protect the people as part of their responsibilities yet they worry more about public approval ratings. Send them ALL back to Arab countries, boycott anything they have INCLUDING OIL and fortify all borders and home defenses. Do not even allow tourism. Take a severely hard stance and while it may not prevent them from hating and wanting to take murderous actions, it WILL prevent most of those actions. We must stop giving them permission to kill us.
