Netanyahu’s Statement on the Palestinian UN Vote (Video)

"No decision by the UN can break the 4000-year-old bond between the people of Israel and the land of Israel."
Bibi tube

On Thursday, at the Menachem Begin Heritage Center in Jerusalem, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made the following statement:

“Israel is prepared to live in peace with a Palestinian state, but for peace to endure, Israel’s security must be protected. The Palestinians must recognize the Jewish State and they must be prepared to end the conflict with Israel once and for all. None of these vital interests, these vital interests of peace, none of them appear in the resolution that will be put forward before the General Assembly today and that is why Israel cannot accept it. The only way to achieve peace is through agreements that are reached by the parties directly; through direct negotiations between themselves, and not through UN resolutions that completely ignore Israel’s vital security and national interests. And because this resolution is so one-sided, it doesn’t advance peace, it pushes it backwards.

As for the rights of the Jewish people in this land, I have a simple message for those people gathered in the General Assembly today: No decision by the UN can break the 4000-year-old bond between the people of Israel and the land of Israel.”

    Agree.

Here is the problem: Unless you do something with them, they are a boil that will keep festering. Whatever the solution, if Israel doesn’t find it, the situation will continue getting worse. We know that the so-called palestinians (where the bleep is Palestine?) will continue to love death more than we love life.

Kudos for thePrime Minister. If they want peace with Israel, let
them recognize Israel as a Jewis state. Furthermore: prior to 1948, the Palestinians were the Jews. Check your history, if you can find any uncorrupted sources.

  4. royholbert says:

    Mr. Trachtenburg,
Palestine, or palestina, was an area that icludes most of what we
refer to as Middle East and was an goverance(?) area controlled by the Roman Empire who needed to call this vast area something; so the called it palestinia. Latin, I think. My Latin isn’t what it was years ago.

He only talks the talk, but never walks the walk.
Had he ordered to CRUSH Hamas, Abu Mazen would not have dared to go to the UN, and Europe would not have had the EXCUSE to vote as it did "to strengthen 'moderate" Abu Mazen"…

  6. Roc Diaz says:

i think hes doing the best that he can under the circumstances. we dont know what he knows

  7. Susan Misa says:

The land of Israel should govern itself and not the UN. This would be the same as saying that China should govern Russia? Or Germany govern Spain? Or France govern England? Or Africa govern South America? So why is the UN trying to tell Israel that they can not govern themselves? The land of Israel need to govern themselves with the help (not rude remarks, comments or being prejudged) from their allies.

  8. Robin Ticker says:

Time to annex Judea and Samaria!

  9. Raul Martinez Cisneros says:

Como creer en un observador que es deshonesto mentiroso calumniador terrorista y todos los pormenores delictivos, eso es lo mas descabellado estamos viviendo un mundo cruel despiadado donde a lo malo se considera bueno y a lo bueno malo.
