JewishPress Logo

Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch announced that a new police station will be opened on the Mount of Olives in February.

Aharonovitch said that stationing 25 police officers on the Mount of Olives “will greatly increase the feeling of security.”

The increased security presence comes in response to the stone throwing and grave desecration that has been occurring with regularity in the area.
