The Interior Ministry in cooperation with the Finance Ministry has transferred NIS 7 million to the Jewish communities of the Gaza Belt region, according to Ynet.

The money is being allocated for emergency preparedness and for the maintenance of routine services for residents in the communities along the Gaza border, according to the report.

GOC Southern Command Major-General Herz HaLevi informed residents of the south on Wednesday that 20 “quality targets” were struck by the IDF across the Gaza Strip, and said it would be difficult to rebuild those that were destroyed.

“The IDF is ready, and is prepared for every scenario,” HaLevi said. “We will respond with even greater force,” he warned Hamas in Gaza. “We’ll be able to respond to each and every scenario.”
