“Make no mistake, a nuclear-armed Iran is not a challenge that can be contained,” Obama said in his address to the General Assembly in New York on Tuesday morning. “It would threaten the elimination of Israel, the security of Gulf nations and the stability of the global economy. It risks triggering a nuclear arms race in the region and the unraveling of the non-proliferation treaty. That is why a coalition of countries is holding the Iranian government accountable. And that is why the United States will do what we must to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.”
Obama has explicitly rejected containment of a nuclear Iran for months, but attaching its prospect to an existential threat to Israel is the starkest warning he has made and reflects increased anxiety in Israel about suspicions that Iran is accelerating a nuclear weapons program.
Much of Obama’s speech was devoted to promoting civil society in the Muslim world, in the context of the riots that ensued after the anti-Muslim film “Innocence of Muslims” was posted on YouTube.
In that context, Obama said he understood Muslim sensitivities about the debasement of Muhammad but added that to be credible, those taking affront also should take affront at similar attacks on other religions.
“The future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam,” he said. “Yet to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see when the image of Jesus Christ is desecrated, churches are destroyed or the Holocaust is denied. Let us condemn incitement against Sufi Muslims and Shiite pilgrims.”
In his only reference to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Obama appeared to place the burden on the Palestinians in pressing for a return to talks, mentioning the refusal by some to accept Israel’s right to exist, but not explicitly mentioning Israel’s settlement policies.
“Among Israelis and Palestinians, the future must not belong to those who turn their backs on the prospect of peace,” he said. “Let us leave behind those who thrive on conflict and those who reject the right of Israel to exist. The road is hard but the destination is clear — a secure Jewish state of Israel and an independent, prosperous Palestine. Understanding that such a peace must come through a just agreement between the parties, America will walk alongside all who are prepared to make that journey.”

I don't like his comment about mentioning prophet Mohammed, the man has been dead for more than 1500 years, It has nothing to do with the holocaust, or them desecrating Christ image as no one knows what Christ looks like, but burning property which doesn't belong to them should definitely not be tolerated.
and he definitely favours Palestine over Israel, notice he says a prosperous Palestine why not both being prosperous and living in peace together? It is not the first time he lied about his roots and wonder what exactly is his agenda?

We can read in one of the prophecies in the Bible about the possibility of a nuclear war:
"This is the plague with which the LORD will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their FLESH WILL ROT while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. On that day men will be stricken by the LORD with GREAT PANIC. Each man will seize the hand of another, and they will attack each other. Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected—great quantities of gold and silver and clothing. A similar plague will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps.'
Zechariah 14:12-15 (NIV)–As based on what's written in Zech.14:12-15 a nuclear war may happen if Jerusalem is attacked.
The best question now is how can we prevent this war from happening? What did God advise us before to prevent such horrible event to happen? HOW CAN GOD TRULY HEAR THE PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLES OF THE WORLD TO PREVENT SUCH HORRIBLE EVENT FROM HAPPENING? WHAT WAS GOD"S PROMISE BEFORE? Let us read:

Zechariah 13:9 (NIV) — As it is written, for GOD to hear our prayers to prevent this war, we should not just pray but WE, PEOPLES OF THE WORLD should ALL CALL ON GOD'S NAME- The question is, how can we know the only one true Name of God?
What did God say before?
Let us read in: Deut.18:18-19(NIV).
“18 I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. 19 And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him.”.
- God had spoken before in Deut.18:18-19 about a ONE prophet whom will He send like Moses, who is not a Jew but from among the Gentiles, the brothers of the Jews; whose mouth He will place His words (which means the chosen one will not study the Bible on his own as God Himself will instruct him about His words ) AND will send to speak in His Name or to reveal His Name-
This means that when it comes to the word of God, especially about His Name- there is only ONE man given who was given authority by God to speak about it and this is the ‘prophet like Moses’ whom God spoke about in Deut.18:18-19.

Please also be reminded in the book of Jonah in the Bible, when the people of Nineveh heard the words of the prophet Jonah that God will destroy Nineveh, all the Ninevites, from the King to its citizens- repented and worshiped God and God heard their prayers and did not let the destruction happen. If God heard the prayers of the Ninevites then, how much more now when we all call on His true Name!
