Flights have resume at the south terminal of Paris’ Orly airport Saturday night, following a terror attack earlier in which the terrorist was shot dead.

Ziyed Ben Belgacem, 39, was killed on Saturday after he grabbed a soldier, put a gun to his head and told him he wanted to “die for Allah.” This followed an earlier involvement on Belgacem’s part in a shootout with police at a checkpoint in Paris and a carjacking.

Belgacem drove his stolen car to the airport’s south terminal, where he attempted to grab a policewoman’s automatic weapon, then put his own gun to her head and said: “I’m here to die for Allah. In any case people are going to die.”

At which point he was shot dead by two other soldiers.

Police found on his body a copy of the holy Koran which teaches love of peace to all mankind.
