Of course they said none of the above. Or, rather, I lifted their urgent and heartfelt statements from a press release sent out by Reform Rabbi (nebech) Pamela Frydman, International Co-Chair, Rabbis for Women of the Wall, decrying the despicable acts of vandalism and graffiti desecration found by police at Peggy Cidor’s home in Jerusalem on the last morning of Hanukkah.
Yes, all of the above holy gevalts were a reaction to this lady’s hallway getting a big graffiti. Jewish babies are stoned and carjacked, Jews are stabbed in broad daylight, Arab terrorists are digging tunnels into Israel to kidnap Jewish soldiers, and a population of half a million Jews is being slated for deportation while these words are being written – and the only thing that brings these rabbis of all denominations together is the schmutz on Peggy Cidor’s hallway wall.
