The Palestinian Authority’s senior negotiator has responded to Prime Minister Netanyahu’s call for a resumption of peace talks by saying that to do so would be “lunacy.”

Saeb Erekat plainly stated that “negotiations” really means “obligations,” meaning that Israel must agree to stop building for Jews in half of Jerusalem as well as in Judea and Samaria and must release all Arab prisoners before talks can resume.
