PA Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah said Monday that there is no security “cooperation” between the Palestinian Authority and Israel, but only security “coordination,” and he stressed that PA cooperation with Israel is intended to help Palestinians under PA administration live normative lives.

Hamdallah’s statement stands in contrast to comments made by his boss, PA Chairman Abu Mazen Saturday that indicate PA police are, in fact, assisting IDF troops search for Eyal Yifrah, Gil-Ad Shayer and Naftali Frenkel.
