Jewish residents of the Benjamin region fear the new connection of the road leading to their home with a road connecting the Arab city of Ramallah and the Rawabi luxury real estate project, burgeoning to the south of their settlements. Gantz was greeted by his Canadian counterpart, General Walt Natynczyk, who emphasized the importance he sees in strengthening security cooperation between the two countries.
