The Palestinian Authority called the kettle black Thursday and accused the Netanyahu government of inciting against Mahmoud Abbas and damaging the peace process, the PA official WAFA news agency said.

Abbas’ spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh said, “The positions of the president [Abbas] and the Palestinian leadership are aimed at protecting the rights of the Palestinian people and not to turn a blind eye to (Israeli) incitement to kill and sabotage the last of what remained of US efforts to keep the last chance for peace through building illegitimate settlements and announcing all the time that they will not withdraw from the Palestinian-Jordanian borders or recognize the rights of the refugees.”

There was no reference to exactly what “incitement” of Abbas he was talking about.

Rudeineh also condemned the IDF for its shooting dead on Wednesday a “Palestinian citizen.” H was referring to a terrorists who shot a dozen bullets at Israeli vehicle and then at an IDF patrol near the community of Ateret in northern Samaria.

WAFA told its readers that witnesses said the IDF was guilty of “cold blooded murder.”
