Mamun Ismyail Salame Stut, a Palestinian released from Israeli prison as part of the Gilad Shalit prisoner exchange deal, was arrested by Israeli security forces for posing a security threat near Hebron.

Stut was originally sentenced in 2002 to 38 years in prison for attempted murder, assembling explosives, and membership in a terror organization.

He is the first released prisoner to be recaptured since the exchange.
