Palestinian officials responded to Israel’s proposals for border and security arrangements of a future Palestinian state at their Wednesday meeting in Amman with outright rejection, claiming Israel was seeking to carve up Judea and Samaria to suit its security and settlement needs.

According to Israeli sources, Israel’s envoy to the discussions, Itzik Molho, provided a general outline to his Palestinian counterparts on Israel’s approach to border issues and security.
