British police reported that the shots fired in front of Manchester’s Yeshivat Shaarei Torah around 2 AM last night. were aimed at the yeshiva and did not happen by accident. The yeshiva is located in the mostly Jewish neighborhood of Broughton Park.

According a report in the Jewish Chronicleת אwo 17 year old boys from Broughton have been arrested  on suspicion of possessing, and discharging a firearm at the Yeshiva in Upper Park Road, in Manchester.

The incident is not being treated as a hate crime or anti-Semitic.

According a report in the Jewish Chronicle, two cars were driving erratically around the yeshiva, which is the largest yeshiva in Manchester, with prominent Hebrew writing on its street side, and then a flash from a gunshot was seen and a shot heard.

A few students went outside to ask the driver to stop honking his horn in the middle of the night. While they were talking, another car arrived and its driver fired a few gunshots.

According to some witnesses only one gunshot was heard.

Police closed down the area.

The website Chadrei Chareidim noted that two weeks ago local police arrested a Muslim who was planning to hit Jewish institutions in Manchester, including Shaarei Torah.

Come up home to Eretz Yisrael. Before you do, keep the Muslims from doing this to you. Non-Muslim Goyim and Ha'Shem's chosen Jews deserve better than Sharia, and they deserve better than the terrorists who are trying to bring their Islamic jihad to your country.
