Rabbi Reuven Feinstein

Rabbi Reuven Feinstein and his wife, Rebbetzin Chava Feinstein, were hospitalized Tuesday after they were both involved in a car accident earlier in the day in New York.

The rabbi is reported to be in stable condition. The rebbetzin underwent emergency surgery to address crash-related injuries. The vehicle in which the rabbi and rebbetzin were traveling reportedly hit a tree.

Rabbi Feinstein is the dean of the Yeshiva of Staten Island, which he established in 1966 together with his late father, the renowned rabbinic adjudicator, Rabbi Moshe Feinstein, ztz’l.

The youngest of four, his older brother is the well-known Rabbi Dovid Feinstein, the dean of Mesivta Tiferes Yerushalayim.

The public is asked to pray for the recovery of Shalom Reuven ben Shima, and Chava Sarah bas Ita Devorah.
