The United Hatzolah emergency medical response service operates a Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit which has now placed its volunteers in the south on high alert.

The hotline to reach the psychotrauma unit is 1221.

Psychotrauma unit director Miriam Ballin said Tuesday, “We strongly encourage anyone who suffering emotional or psychological trauma due to the tense situation currently developing in the south to call United Hatzalah’s dispatch and command center at 1221 and request assistance.”
