Obama To PA:

Wait Until After The Elections

The Obama administration told the Palestinian Authority it cannot significantly help advance a Palestinian state until after the 2012 presidential elections, a top PA official told this column. The official, however, said the U.S. will press for a Palestinian state quickly if President Obama is re-elected.

“The main message we received from the U.S. is that nothing will happen in a serious way before the 2012 elections,” he said. Obama “will not accept the Palestinian request of a state at the [UN] Security Council and cannot help on the ground for now.”

“We were told to wait for Obama’s reelection, and that before then nothing serious will happen for a state,” the official continued. “But after the reelection, the U.S. said the schedule will be short to reach a Palestinian state.”

Sinai Terror Plot To

Target Americans, Israelis

Intelligence information indicates that both Americans and Israelis are the intended target of a jihadist terror plot, according to informed Middle East security sources with specific knowledge of the plan.

On Saturday, Israel instructed border personnel not to allow Israelis to pass through the Taba border crossing into the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula. The crossing connects the Sinai with the Israeli port city of Eilat. The closure marks the first time the border has been shut down since it was first opened to Israel in 1982.

The Israeli media reported the decision to shut the border crossing was made after the Jewish state received serious and targeted threats from terror organizations planning to perpetrate attacks against Israelis in the Sinai, particularly near Taba.

Security sources familiar with the threats told KleinOnline.com there were also threats against Americans in the Sinai as part of the planned jihadist attacks. The sources did not have more specific information on the U.S.-related threat.

Radical Agenda Behind

Wall Street Protests

As the news media struggle to find a unifying theme behind the so-called Wall Street protesters, a closer look at the activists behind the agitation reveals a transformative agenda aimed at assaulting U.S. capitalism. The Occupy Wall Street movement launched two weeks ago and has been escalating ever since.

Organizers have been calling for rewriting the U.S. Constitution; imposing a “Robin Hood tax” on most financial transactions worldwide with the goal of taking from the “rich” to give to the “poor;” and giving the Federal Reserve permission to regulate interest rates on savings accounts. So reads a call to arms by a group calling itself the General Assembly of New York City. The group has been asking supporters to participate in a “Day of Rage” that started last month and seeks to escalate into protests across the nation.

There are indications the Wall Street protesters are training to incite violence, resist arrest and disrupt the legal system. Planners have their own website – USDayofRage.org – which provides resources, including videos and detailed written instructions, for protesters to engage in “civil disobedience.” The resources provided include instructions on how to resist police arrest and disrupt court hearings.

Numerous radicals, many with direct ties to Obama, are linked to protests and other activism scheduled for the coming months. In March, ACORN founder Wade Rathke announced what he called “days of rage in 10 cities around JP Morgan Chase.” Rathke was president of an SEIU local in New Orleans.

The September 17 protest seems to be the culmination of Rathke’s efforts. Those efforts are being organized by Stephen Lerner, an SEIU board member who reportedly visited the Obama White House at least four times. Lerner is considered one of the most capable organizers of the radical left. He recently organized the SEIU’s so-called Justice for Janitors campaign.

Also training the protesters has been Heather Booth, director of a Saul Alinsky-style community organizing group, the Midwest Academy, which specializes openly in the tactics of direct action, confrontation and intimidation. In 1999, Booths’s Midwest Academy received $75,000 from the Woods Fund with Obama on its board alongside Weatherman terrorist Bill Ayers. In 2002, with Obama still serving on the Woods Fund with Ayers, Midwest received another $23,500 for its Young Organizers Development Program.

Obama Nominee Tied To

Controversial Loan

President Obama’s nominee for commerce secretary served as chairman of the board of a solar energy company that recently received a $1.37 billion federal loan guarantee – the largest the Department of Energy has ever given for a solar power project.

Now that company, BrightSource Energy, is attempting to build the world’s largest solar power plant amid concerns such ventures may be too risky an investment for the federal government.

In June, BrightSource Chairman John Bryson was nominated by Obama to head the Commerce Department.

The U.S.-funded BrightSource solar panel system will feature mirrors that reflect sun toward a massive central tower that is in turn heated to produce steam meant to spin turbines to produce electricity. During a national address last October, Obama mentioned the possible benefits of BrightSource Energy’s “revolutionary new type of solar power plant.”

However, some have doubted that the massive solar plant will actually work.

The Bay Citizen quoted Michael Boyd, president of the nonprofit Californians for Renewable Energy, as saying there is “no evidence” BrightSource’s project will succeed.

Boyd complained that most of the equipment used at the plant would be manufactured in China and Germany. “Stimulus money isn’t going to jobs here in the U.S. It’s going to jobs overseas,” he said.

Meanwhile, Bryson co-founded an environmental activist group that is a member and funder of the controversial Apollo Alliance. Apollo is run by a slew of socialists and radicals, including Jeff Jones, a founder of the Weather Underground domestic terrorist organization. Jones himself boasts of doing work for the environmental group founded by Bryson, the Natural Resources Defense Council.

Bryson also served until June as co-chairman of the Pacific Council on International Policy, a globalist organization whose members can be found throughout the Obama administration.
