On Saturday morning, Rav Ovadiah Yosef, the spiritual leader of the Shas party, was taken to Hadassah Ein Karem hospital in Jerusalem after not feeling well.
Rav Ovadiah reportedly suffered a minor stroke.
It was decided that Rav Ovadiah will stay in the hospital a few more days for observation.
The rabbi did not lose consciousness at any point, and is awake and fully aware of his surroundings.
