The Red Alert went off at around 5:30 PM in the Ashekelon Beach region.

According to the IDF, they believe the rocket fell short and landed inside Gaza.

Update: The rocket landed in an open area. There are no injuries or damage reported.

Earlier in the day, the IAF hit Hamas positions in Gaza after dozens of terror-balloons were launched into Israel.

The Gazans claim several people were wounded in Beit Hanoun from the drone strike.
