Multiple rockets were launched at Ashdod and Ashkelon this morning. The Iron Dome system appears to have taken out some of them.

Meanwhile, locals are reporting hits within Ashdod and Ashkelon. Medical personnel are reportedly treating people for shock from the attacks.

Rocket alert sirens are being sounded in Rechovot and Yavne.

Earlier today,Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held an emergency security consultation . Participating in the telephone consultation were Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon, IDF Deputy Chief-of-Staff Maj.-Gen. Gadi Eisenkot and ISA Director Yoram Cohen. The Prime Minister directed all necessary action be taken in order to restore quiet in the south. Netanyahu said at a press conference that: “The IDF is responding forcefully to the firing against the citizens of Israel by the Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip. If there is no calm in the south, there will be no calm in Gaza, and that’s putting it mildly. I call upon the residents of the south to follow the instructions. The IDF will do the job.”

  6. Let me give you a history lesson. Once upon a time there was an idiot named Mohammad and he was hiding in a cave away from his wife. Well while he was there he smoked some hashish and saw an angel (I smoked it one time and saw a big yellow Pac Man) okay back to my story, he wrote down that he saw an angel and went back to his wife. She was about to beat him with a frying pan until she heard his story. She said “you are a prophet.” SHE SAID you are a prophet, NOT G-D! The book he wrote makes excellent toilet paper. I recommend it. Okay I made up the part about the frying pan. G-d Bless Israel!!

  7. Are the moosies the survivors of the "bad boys" of Sodoma and Gomora?.

  9. Alex Forsyth says:

Hit them where it hurts, locate their weapons dumps and blow them to kingdom come and intercept their main supply and the suppliers and send them all to hell.
This is the only negotiating that these people understand and it's only good manners to show a decent level of understanding, happy Purim everyone, Shalom!
