An Arab terrorist attempted to stab IDF soldiers at the Bitot Junction south of Shechem.

The would-be attacker charged at the forces armed with a knife, the IDF spokesperson’s unit said in a statement, but was quickly stopped in his tracks.

“The soldiers fired warning shots in the air, preventing the attack,” according to an IDF spokesperson.

In fact, the would-be attacker turned tail and ran. He did manage to escape, however.

“Forces are now conducting searches in the area for the assailant who fled the scene.”
