Scarlett Johansson and fiancé Romain Dauriac are expecting their first child, People Magazine announced on Monday. Johansson, who is Jewish on her mother’s side, is about five months along, according to TMZ, which cited sources close to the couple.
Johansson, 29, has been engaged for six months to Dauriac, 31, a French journalist and manager of a creative agency.
“I’m very happy,” Johansson, 29, told People last January, referring to Dauriac, 31, a French journalist who also manages a creative agency. “He’s my buddy.”
“Being engaged is an exciting time to enjoy and to really savor,” she added.
But she’s in no hurry to get married, despite the fact that she’s expecting.
“I’m not doing any wedding planning,” she told Good Morning America, also last January.
Dauriac proposed to the SodaStream rep more than six months ago with a vintage Art Deco diamond engagement ring, according to the Daily Mail.
