Syrian Rebels ‘Frustrated’ as Obama Avoids War

The commander of the Free Syrian Army rebel group warns that Assad will continue to murder his own people.
Gen. Salim Idris

GWEN IFILL: But, General, as you know, the U.N. report doesn’t actually say the government is behind these attacks, which leads open the possibility, as some say, that your folks are behind them.

SALIM IDRIS: Oh, my God. Please.

Do you think that the FSA has ability to launch chemical materials? We said many, many times we don’t have chemical materials. And, as you know, Secretary Kerry say it very clearly that our friends in the United States, they know where that rocket launched from and where they landed and who gave the order. We know who gave the order.

We have evidence. And the international community, all of our friends in the international community, they know that the regime used that chemical material.

GWEN IFILL: I have one final question for you, sir. Do you think, given the report from the U.N. and the deal that was cut in Geneva, that you are any closer today to your goal of overthrowing Assad?

SALIM IDRIS: I think we are very close to throw out Bashar and to collapse the regime. And I have the hope to collapse the regime tomorrow.

We hope that our friends in the United States help us and our friends in Europe, because the Russians and the Iranians are helping the criminal regime.

GWEN IFILL: General Salim Idris, thank you.

I am an American citizen and I want to address a few issues that the President of the Syrian Rebel’s has raised. First I am so sorry that you are disappointed that our country did not attack the Syrian president and take out his regime. We do have a Constituation and we live by it. Our so called president is not God and does not speak for all of America. 90% of the American people are against attacking Syria and starting World War III. Our Congress does not back this attack either. Now here is what I see in the Muslim World? You hate America and all that we stand for but you, like the Muslim Brotherhood are always willing to take Billions of dollars, planes, tanks, weapons, or anything else that you can get for free then turn around and spit in our face. Then you continue to hate us and say go away and leave us alone. So my question is this: WHY SHOULD AMERICAN RISK STARTING WORLD WAR III FOR YOU. Ray Cunningham  an American Citizen

Easy answer, they know as do others that obozo is one of them and they think he will join the war to give victory to them and if he does, there goes all the Christians that were left alone by Assad.

  4. Yechiel Baum says:

Obama does not want to avoid war. He just wants to avoid killing his own Moslem brethren. Notice his silence about the Islamists killing of the Egyptian Coptics?

  5. John Mathew says:
