Syrian Rocket Hits Israel on Yom Kippur

A Syrian rocket, launched between the Syrian army and the Syrian rebels ended up hitting the Israeli side of the Golan Heights on Wednesday afternoon. There were no injuries or damage from the strike.

On Tuesday, a number of mortars hit the Israeli side of the Golan Heights, also from fighting between the Syrian army and the rebels. No injuries were reported then either.

Residents on the Golan Heights reported hearing heavy gunfire all throughout Yom Kippur,
