Syrian army tanks pulled out of Homs on Tuesday as a team of Arab League observers examined the embattled city which has served as a major front between Syrian President Bashar Assad and opposition forces.  In the last 24 hours, 34 people were reported killed.

Observers numbered the tanks exiting Homs at 11, stating other tanks were being hidden rather than removed.
